The L-shape design provides a natural sequence of privacy and locates the master bedroom suite and private office at the one end of the house.  The entrance foyer and its stair tower act as a pivot to the other parts of the house and integrates the two-story portion which houses two bedrooms and a quest suite at the second floor with independent access.  The rear terrace extends the entire length of the house with open stairways leading into the lower level courtyard. The two-level courtyard allows natural light and ventilation to most of the basement area.  The Mediterranean style of the house blends natural stone and stucco with cased windows and extensive surrounding terraces.
