Eastern Shore, Maryland
The 7,000 sft house with its wide angular setting was designed to embrace the unobstructed views of the Eastern Bay from all interior rooms. The main feature of the living room is its curved wood ceiling that focuses on a portal glazed wall leading to the patio. The curvilinear low walls of the raised stone and grass patio provides an elevated vista of the bay. The nautical theme of the exterior design is expressed with porthole windows and combines carderock bluestone base, hardie plank siding and heavy decorative trim.
